1. I'm interested in an advertised job, what should I do?
Please review the job details and requirements, if it matches your skills, qualification, education and work history, click on 'apply now' link below the job description. We only advertise the vacancies and we are not involved in the screening or selecting of candidates.

2. I want to know more about one of the advertised vacancies, whom should I contact?
You can contact the employer who advertised the vacancy – if the employer information is published - he or she will be able to tell you more. The contact details if exist should be published together with the rest of the vacancy details. For maintaining customer privacy and information security, kindly note that we can’t give company details or feedback you about your application, as we only advertise the vacancies but you can contact the employer, who advertised the vacancy – if the employer information is published.

3. No Ads in my profession, what is wrong?
Probably nothing wrong. Simply, there isn't any employer that has advertised any job in your profession. Kindly, contact us with your profession and your email and we will get back to you soon.

4. I saw a job advertised, but I can't find it now?
If the job advertised is no longer there, it's because either the job is no longer vacant or the employer doesn't want to receive more applications, or it might be expired.

5. I am not able to contact the employer. Could I contact them through you?
No you can't. kindly note that we can’t give more information about the employer other than what is already published on the job details page. If the information is wrong or missing, or the employer doesn't reply, we can do nothing.

6. I don't live in Kuwait; can I apply for the jobs advertised?
Yes you can, if the employer needs your qualification and skills he will arrange for your residency.

7. I don't have a work visa, Could I apply?
Sure you can, if the employer finds your qualifications and skills matching the job needs, he will transfer your visa.

8. Why can't I upload my CV and should I copy its field to Q8CV database?

10. Can I send you my resume by email?
No, we can only accept CVs created by Q8CV builder, we do not accept emails.

11. I'd like to make changes and update my resume, what should I do?
If you want to make changes or update your details, please use 'Edit' link beside your CV in your control panel on Q8CV.

12. I am currently working; can I hide my resume from employers search? How?
Yes you can. To do so, please set your CV status to private, so it will not be listed in the employer search for candidate.

13. Can I narrow my search?
Yes, to refine your search criteria. You can limit your search by Occupation, Industry, Job Title, Location and many others.

14.Does the CV Builder correct spelling errors?
The CV Builder recognizes the common misspellings in some browsers such as Firefox and it is your duty to correct the red underlined terms.

15. Should I fill all my personal details?
No you shouldn't. We don't ask for all your personal information, but it is better to fill them, to let the employer find you easily. Remember, you must include in your resume your email, mobile, phone, etc, so that employers can contact you easily.

16. How will you use my email address?
We will only use your email address to send you newly posted jobs matching your search criteria newsletters or to send you resume update reminders only if you subscribed to any. We will NEVER use your email address for marketing purposes, sell or disclose it to third parties.

17. If I forgot my password or user name; could you send me a reminder?
Yes. If you want to request a user name or password reminder, please click 'Forgot Password?' link entering the email you used in registering to Q8CV and we will send you an email containing your username and password.

18. Why should I subscribe to the "Hot Jobs Newsletter" service?
Subscribe to the "Newsletter" service and you will regularly receive a free email message containing the latest vacancies published in our site.

19. How much should I pay for the Hot Jobs newsletters subscription?
Nothing, it's free.

20. How often will you send me jobs by email?
Once or twice a week.

21. How long does a job ad last?
A regular job ad lasts for 30 days.

22. I don't want to receive more emails, how can I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription, go to "My Profile" then "Edit My Profile" and just uncheck the boxes beside the Newsletter Subscription.

23. I'd like to change my personal information, what should I do?
To change your personal Information, Click 'Edit my Profile' link in your page on Q8CV.

24. I posted my CV, but no Employers contacted me?
If you don't receive anything it might be because no employer finds your qualifications or skills match the job posted, you might be overqualified, your CV might need extra work to look attractive, or you could check your contact information, it is hard to say, but always you could send us your feedback and email.

25. I'm subscribed, but I don't receive any Newsletters, why?
If you don't receive anything, check if you provided the right email address from your profile page, or there might not be any new job posts matching your subscribed criteria.

26. How do I suggest a new feature?
We're always interested in new ideas. contact us.

27. Who views my CV?
This depends on the Privacy Choice you set while building your CV
If you set your CV Privacy to Standard, any Employer with View Credit could view your CV.
If you set your CV Privacy to Private, your CV will not appear in the employers search, only employers you applied to will view your CV.
If you set your CV Privacy to Anonymous, your CV will appear in employers search, but your contact information, current company name and location will be hidden, if the employers want to contact you they will use the "Secured Contact Option" which we provide to protect your privacy, Finally Q8CV will notify you by any employer contact request which will appear in your Control Panel, and the employer will not be able to view your complete CV unless you accept the Secure Contact Request.

28. What is a Cover Letter, Why Should I add it to my CV?
A Cover Letter is an introductory letter that should be accompanied to your CV, to indicate: Who you are? What makes you suitable for the posted job? It helps you build good impression.
